The Art of Light Touch Myofascial Release 2
*No Prerequisites Required
This one-day workshop builds on the principles of Light Touch Myofascial Release and introduces a series of advanced yet gentle techniques designed to address myofascial restrictions throughout the trunk.
This workshop builds on the principles of Light Touch Myofascial Release and introduces a series of advanced yet gentle techniques designed to address myofascial restrictions throughout the trunk. Practitioners will develop deeper listening skills, improved anatomical awareness, and a more refined therapeutic approach.
We begin with a one-hour fascia overview—how it functions, why restrictions develop, and the evidence behind Light Touch Myofascial Release—followed by a full day of guided, hands-on practice.
Focus Areas: Back • Chest • Abdomen
Unique to This Course: Techniques not offered in any other Stuart Therapies & Seminars program
What You Will Learn:
Posterior Trunk (Back)
- Rib compression/decompression
- Engaging the periosteal fascia
- Working with costovertebral joints
- Vertebral rotation assessment
- Light Touch vertebral alignment techniques
- Rotational mobility enhancement (great for active clients and athletes)
- Scapular releases: compression, decompression, rotation
Anterior Trunk (Front)
- Rib and sternum fascial releases
- Periosteal and costochondral relationships
- Multi-directional fascial work
- Two methods for diaphragm release
- Abdominal myofascial complex techniques
- Considerations for diastasis recti
