Join this immersive mentorship experience and deepen your understanding and intuitive application of Light Touch Myofascial Release (LT-MFR) in a clinical setting.

What You Will Learn
- Comprehensive insight into patient conditions and symptom patterns related to chronic pain and rehabilitation
- Exploration of previous treatments patients have undergone, and an understanding of the reasoning behind specific LT-MFR approaches
- Hands-on participation in patient treatments (with patient consent) to enhance your intuitive fascial skills
- Instruction in advanced LT-MFR techniques, including:
- Rebounding
- Unwinding
- Scar release
- Cranial sacral work
- Single and double hand releases
- Compression techniques
- Assessment and charting specific to myofascial work
- Guided practice with detailed chart note documentation
- Certificate of completion with accredited CEUs through the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS)
CEU Accreditation
- Every 2 hours of treatment equals 1 primary CEU with MTANS
- Certificate issued upon completion of your mentorship hours
Prerequisites
To participate, you must have completed at least three of the following courses:
Mentorship Packages
Basic Mentorship Package
$1,500 + HST
24 Hours | 12 Primary CEUs
- 24 hours of 2-on-1 clinical treatment observation and participation
- Direct mentorship in a clinical setting
- Learn and refine hands-on techniques, including:
- Light Touch MFR fundamentals
- Compression and release techniques
- Cranial sacral work
- Myofascial unwinding
- Delivered in 3-hour increments
Advanced Mentorship Package
$2,650 + HST
36 Hours | 18 Primary CEUs
Includes everything in the Basic Package, plus:
- 8 hours of guided treatment performed on your mentor
- 4 hours of treatment time focused on you as the patient
- Advanced assessment techniques
- Training in MFR-specific charting and documentation
Mentoring Sessions (A La Carte)
- 3-hour session: $200 + HST
- In the event of a patient cancellation, that hour will be spent on focused skill development directly with your mentor
